Nutanix sees a new synergy between hyperconverged enterprises and the major public cloud service providers that can give the largest of those enterprises access to as much data storage, analytics, AI, machine learning, and process automation - while at the same time removing the hassle of spec’ing, buying, managing, and upgrading `kit’. In my young days they called one possible solution `outsourcing’. Now it seems set to come back, and in a big way.
